Regular members
are peace officers, public health officers, environmental health
officers/specialists, hazardous materials specialists of a public
health or environmental health agency or fire department, prosecuting
attorneys engaged in environmental crimes prosecutions, employees
of a water or air pollution control agency and other individuals
whose duties are related to environmental protection and who are
regularly employed by the Federal government, the State of California,
the counties and municipal subdivisions of the State of California,
or of any other state.
Associate
members
are people in some branch of law enforcement or some closely allied
pursuit, who actively participate and cooperate in criminal detection,
apprehension and prosecution, whose business, occupation or profession
causes them to have contact with and assist regular CHMIA members
in the performance of their duties. Associate members have all the
privileges of regular members, with the following exceptions:
Associate members do not have voting rights and are not eligible
to hold office in CHMIA.
Associate members may be excluded from attendance at business meetings.
Associate members have additional responsiblities and conditions

Membership
dues
are payable yearly, and cover the year in which they are paid. If
you are ready to join CHMIA or renew your existing membership, open
the appropriate membership form, enter the required information,
and mail it to the address on the form.Please remember to include
your County and Email.
