CSTI Hazardous Materials Investigations

Course Details:
The course is designed for government officials who respond to and investigate hazardous materials and related incidents, document their findings, and follow through on the results of their investigations. It emphasizes a multi-agency, multidisciplinary task force approach.

Participants learn the techniques involved in thoroughly investigating hazardous materials incidents including gathering evidence, interviewing, documenting the investigative progress, determining if potential criminal and/or civil violations have occurred, and the proper disposition of the investigator’s final work product.

Scholarship Details: 
CHMIA is offering twenty-four (24) scholarships which cover food and lodging for those traveling more than 60 miles to the training site. NOTE: Scholarships for the May course have already been awarded. Stay tuned for more opportunities in the near future!
