This virtual training is restricted to active CHMIA members whose duties include illegal dumping investigations, enforcement, and/or prosecution.
Introduction to Illegal Dumping Investigations
This training will include the following: investigative protocols and techniques; review of relevant statutes and codes; preparation for testifying; procedures in criminal court, traffic court, and administrative enforcement; and issues unique to illegal dumping cases.

CHMIA Members: Login into your account, click on EVENTS, and select the Illegal Dumping Investigations training event. NOTE: If your membership is expired, you will need to pay your membership dues ($50) first in order to register for this training event.
New Members: To apply for membership, go to www.chmia.com and click on the JOIN tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the online membership application. After your membership request is approved, you’ll get an automated email with instructions on how to pay your membership dues ($50). After your dues have been paid, follow the instructions above for CHMIA members.
